Running for the New Jersey FCCLA state office is an incredible opportunity for members to grow as leaders, making a lasting impact, and represent their peers at the state level. 

 

As a state officer, members will gain essential qualities such as: 

• Leadership 

• Public speaking skills 

• Time-management 

• Teamwork 

 

State Officers have the unique responsibility of planning and leading conferences, workshops, and community service projects that help both FCCLA members and the community. They advocate for important causes, represent NJ FCCLA at the national level, and facilitate decisions that shape the organization’s goals and impact. By running for state office, members have the chance to serve as role models, build valuable connections, and develop the confidence and skills that will empower them to be future leaders in their careers and communities.
