WINTER SERVICE IDEAS
Celebrate the holiday spirit and make someone’s day winter-ful!

Shovel snow in neighborhoods, parks, schools, parking lots, etc.

Put-together goody bags for mailmen and delivery drivers.

Hold an ice skating fundraiser at your local rink!

Host a scarf, mitten, and coat drive for the needy.

Partake in day two of national FCCLA Week, Day of Service! Take this day to collect children’s books!

Knit scarves and blankets as a group for the winter season.

Have a newsletter reading meeting! Sell hot chocolate and set the cozy vibes with your chapter!

Set up a thank-you station for school staff and teachers with goodies to help them throughout their day.

Read to children in elementary schools and daycares to brighten their day.

Make treats for the animals at your local shelter.

Bake and decorate cookies for special workers around your town in honor of Valentine's Day.

Recycle old clothes to make blankets and quilts.

Host a movie night at your school.

Save money to donate to the Covenant House! Sacrifice a fun event or unnecessary item, and use that towards a charity for homeless teens.

Community Service National Program
Are you planning a service project in your chapter? Consider applying for the Community Service national program! Through the units Learn, Lead, and Serve, members identify local concerns and carry out projects to improve the quality of life in their communities. Gain additional recognition with opportunities to win cash prizes for impactful service.
