The 2016 National Cluster Meetings were a huge success!

From November 4-6, NJ FCCLA members traveled to Denver, Colorado to participate in competitive events and support Shyamala Subramanian, the National FCCLA VP of Competitive Events, who was on stage with her fellow officers conducting the 2016 National Cluster Meeting.  Here are the results:

Prachi Patel from John P. Stevens HS placed first in Consumer Math Challenge

Devanshi Shah from John P. Stevens HS placed first in Toys that Teach

Kelsey Jacobsen from Southern Regional HS placed second in Toys that Teach

After two days of competition, the John P. Stevens HS FCCLA/LifeSmarts Knowledge Bowl Team, composed of Amit Archarya, Sara Ajani, Hrishi Bopalkar, Austin John and Adrian Wang placed first out of 26 teams!  They will be competing for the national title at the 2017 National Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN.
